Certification of unauthorised building work
Verity BC assists property owners who have identified unauthorised building work during the purchase, sale or ownership of a property.
We undertake a comprehensive inspection of the existing construction and assess the building work against the applicable legislative and regulatory requirements. Where necessary, we provide design and compliance advice to identify the measures required to bring the construction into conformity with the relevant requirements.
Once compliance has been established, we provide the appropriate certification and supporting documentation to the property owner and local council. Our documentation may also be provided to conveyancers for consideration as part of Section 32 documentation.
