Statutory building approvals
Verity BC provides independent building surveying services to facilitate the assessment, approval and delivery of compliant building projects.
We undertake comprehensive assessments of proposed building work against the applicable requirements of the Building Act, Building Regulations and National Construction Code, together with relevant referenced standards and documentation.
Where a project presents site constraints, alternative construction methods, material limitations or other design challenges, we assess and manage the proposed Performance Solutions to facilitate alternative approaches while maintaining compliance with the applicable regulatory requirements.
Once the necessary requirements have been satisfied, Verity BC will issue the building permit and provide ongoing statutory oversight through the mandatory inspection stages of construction. Our inspections are undertaken to assess the building work against the approved building permit documentation and applicable regulatory requirements.
